Little House in the Snow

Hidden in a tiny clearing by the roots of a old tree in a snow-covered wood sits a miniature cottage. Welcoming light shines through the windows onto the deck. A wheelbarrow filled with firewood has left a track across the clearing to the open front door. Warm afternoon sunlight shines through the bare branches, warming the cottage and casting cool shadows on the fresh snow.
